FRPP 62MM TB

I decided to take the plunge and ordered one last week. My shop called me today and said come pick it up, so I slapped it on. I haven't taken any installed pictures yet as I'm working on a project for my plenum cover, as my old one wouldn't clear the new fuel rails or this throttle body!

First impressions of this thing are very good, thought out piece. The butt dyno is registering, I'll find out next week when it's in the shop :nice:

I want one of those just for the bling factor. Too bad they would be such an expensive bling. :(

Looks great Robert! See you this weekend

I agree, it's a very impressive piece in person!

Does this TB require a tune?

Definitely. Only reason I could put mine on is I had an existing 62mm TB, just replaced it. My tune still needs to be tweaked.

Yeah I was wondering because you didnt mention anything about retuning it....

You definitely need to tweak the tune on any car, I was close enough for it to work until I got it to the dyno.

Do you have to use an adapter plate with it? If so what type/brand are you using?

That is a nice piece as for power, I slapped on a gt-500 unit without a tune and felt a difference so I'm sure she will be nice on the go pedal with a good tune.
