HI

I was researching posts regarding the McLeod RST, and seen this one. I am thinking of swapping my stock clutch out for a RST this winter.

I am currently running the stock clutch. I can't believe it does not slip yet. I have the Whipple HO kit putting down 523.3HP / 500ft/lbs TQ to the tires, the car rips and runs perfect.

The car has 4600 miles on it, and the blower has only been on for about 600 miles. I don't always torture it when driving, but I didn't think the clutch would hold up. Hell it held up fine to 3 back to back hard dyno pulls. I actually hate to pull the clutch yet, but I don't think it will hold up at the track in the spring w/ drag radials???

So anyway....Is everyone replacing the stock flywheel or keeping it w/ the RST. It looks like McLeod states you can use the stock one?? Also, what else do I need to or should I replace while it is apart???

Thanks All!!!

The research I have been doing .... shows that you should probablly replace it with a stock Ford unit to be safe when you do the job.

I spoke directly with people at Mcleod when I purchased mine. He stated it was designed to be used with the stock TOB and flywheel.
