Default 2005 black GT,

I've been looking for more than a year, and finally found the car I want. Low miles, great shape, 5 speed manual, leather interior, Shaker 1000 and Bullitt wheels.

I had the dealership replace the plugs even though it's a low mile car. Is there anything else specific to the 2005/2006 model I should look out for ? The 2005/2005 GT manuels came w/a 3.55 gear in the rear which I wanted.

Familiarize yourself with the TSB's listed in the stickies. They cover about 90% of the chronic issues people discuss here in the forums. It's a long list...

Based on what you've listed, I'd be curious what they're asking for a 2005 GT. Anything over $15k-$16k and I'd laugh my *** off.

well Mustangs go for big bucks here in Portland for some reason, but I'm buying this one right, and it's REALLY low miles. It's pristine, and unmolested, which is what I wanted. But this car has a low book of almost $17K and a retail of $21K. Black Mustangs here always get a premium, as do the grabber orange colors. Verts seem to go for a little less, it IS Portland after all. Who wants a vert with 60 days of sun a year, NONE of them in a row.

Someone here in town has a 2007, white GT premium, supercharged, lowered, 20"s asking $15, down from $16, down from $17, down from $20. Still no takers, and I wasn't gonna either.

I've been reading all the TSB's, it was here I came across the sparkplug issue.

I have a 2005 (Apr 05) GT Black 5sp Premium with 20,000 miles on it. The only time it was back to the dealer was for the clunking front strut issue when slow speed turning of the wheels. That it!!! No problems with it. Been modded a bit Saleen Series VI SC 3.6 pulley 39 lb injectors , Some suspenion mods along with alot of eye candy mods. It has been a solid fun to drive car.Pure muscle nothing fancy about these cars.
