Red face Long Tube Headers that wont cause CEL

I searched around and just want to make sure if I got this right. If I get longtube headers with a hi-flow cat and MIL eliminator my CEL light wont come on? Will the long tubes be worth it, I will be paying someone to install these? Thanks, and sorry I am kinda new...

Do it right the first time and get yourself an SCT or Diablo Tuner and just have your rear o2 sensors turned off. Also, the tune will wake your car up significantly, weather it be a dyno tune or an email tune, of which I would recommend Bamachips, Brenspeed, or Blow-By-Racing

Oh I just got the tune 2 days ago, and wow big difference, I need new tires now since its just peeling out everywhere. I was just looking for another improvement I could notice maybe similar to the notice I felt with the tune.

Yeah the L/T's will help out, but even more so with supporting mods, such as steeda delete plates and under drive pulleys, GT500 Throttle Body and a CAI, all that with 2.5" piping would put you at around 310-320 rwhp and 320-335 rwtq and then you'll REALLY be shredding tires!

I had the same problem when i got my cai and tune put in, drag radials will fix that problem. Gears or a converter if you've got an auto are 2 more mods that would run you about the same as the LT's and you deffinately will feel a major improvement with either.

Whenever you run it hard, you should have the TCS off because it leans out the car at certain moments. Also, if I'm not mistaken, in an auto, it cuts off your max rpm's by a little which could be the difference between a win or a loss.

If you get our car inspected in Houston, save yourself some time and make sure you DO have the rear O2 sensors turned ON in your tune. Otherwise you will fail the emissions part of inspection with too many "Not Readys".
Your tuner should be able to give an appropriate tune.

Turn TCS off except when it's slick out. It has a tendency to inhibit performance when you go WOT.
