I mis-read it, the numbers I posted were for the 2000 Cobra R 5.4L

)-:

I figured since I could get a stock triton for relativly cheap, it would have made for a good engine swap. For larger displacement and only 350 lbs. of torque, I'd much rather just build up the 4.6 to handle a good amount of boost.. make 500 lbs. of torque, and less headache.

its kinda surprising why ford didn't make an aluminum version of the 5.4 for the mustang, the 5.4 to me is about the right size, gm certainly doesn't mind they use motors that are a lot bigger in similar cars.
