Default CHE Brace/Exhaust help!

Hello all,
Just installed a Whipple HO kit and a set of American Racing Longtubes, none of that helped the already poor shifting problem. I have a hurst shifter and was looking to get teh CHE brace with torque limiters. I do most of my suspension shopping with Brenspeed adn when i asked them about fitment they were not sure if the brace would fit with the AR headers. They said they were pretty sure they would fit with the BBK Headers they sell but it would be "tight".
Can anyone help me with this? Anyone have any experience with any longtubes and the CHE brace with torque limiters? Im also open to any general comments on the CHE brace and how it did/didnt help or anything else that may help this problem. Ive considered changing motor mounts and changing to a different shifter (like MGW) if the brace didnt help that much or wouldnt fit.

Thanks for the help guys.

I have ARH headers with the CHE brace/torque limiters. Everything clears just fine. Can't speak on how much it helped since I had an MGW put in as well but shifting for me feels great.

The CHE brace and torque limiters are GREAT! I have them on my personal car and sold a few sets to customers, they helped with overall stability of the vehicle well worth the purchase. As for the fitment there is plenty of clearance and no matter who makes headers they all are decently similar so i'm 99.9% positive you'll have no issues.

Have a torque wrench handy, you don't want to use the R.F.T.* method to tighten down the bellhousing bolts.

I would suggest adding the motor mounts first. Not that I question the quality of the CHE piece, but there's certain parts of you car that are designed to limit the motion of the drive train. The bell housing flange is NOT one of those parts. However, the motor mounts and their mounting locations ARE designed for just that. Try that first... besides, you can lower the C/G of your car at the same time if you get the JDM modified mounts.

I never had problems shifting NA or with a 100 shot. I added the Whipple and a very hard time shifting. The brace with tq limiters made a huge difference! This was with the stock shifter. Recently added a Pro 5.0 shifter, make sit even nicer. I still have stock mainfolds but any LT should fit without issue. The brace was one of the best mods to date.
