Whipple guys, help me out.

I need a favor from the whipple guys if you don't mind. I'm trying to compare some of the differences in the way the whipple was offered since it was originally released. If you don't mind, could you post:

1.) which generation whipple you own (Gen 1 or Gen 2),
2.) what size pulley your kit came with, and
3.) the part number and brand of the belt that came with the kit.

Those are the three main things I'm interested in, but if you think there is anything else significant about your configuration, feel free to post that as well.

Thanks,
-Nine

Gen 1
3.375
The original Polycog, 124.7" i believe.

I'd have to guess mine is a gen 2 as it's new
3.25 pully
Gates K061247

The latest CAI's are way different as the filter is flat and faces down with a curtain to separate it from the engine compartment.

Wow, really? That sounds like it wouldn't be very aeshetically appealing, but I could be envisioning it wrong. Got any pics?

*Edit* Just noticed you had a 2010. Do you know if they have to revise the intake due to the 2010 design, or did they make the change before the 2010 came out? Also, congrats on being the first Whippled 2010 I've ever seen. I make the exact same rwhp as you on my street tune.

Gen 1
3.375
came with a Dayco, but just replaced it with Gates K061247.

Note on the belt... very hard to find in Portland, Or. Had to order it from guy on another site. No local parts store (including Napa) had anything close.:icon_shrug:

See my sig for the specs. As far as belt, I recently had to add a belt tensioner and a new belt as I was getting slippage. It is just fine now. The best system is the Steeda pulley, but you would need to retune the car.

Thanks guys. One of the things I wanted to see was if the kits that shipped with the 3.375" pulley came with the same belt as the kits that shipped with the 3.25" pulley. It appears that of the ones that came with the gates piece, it was the same belt.

My stock tensioner bit the dust about a year ago. I upgraded to a Thump_rrr tensioner and haven't had any more problems. That Steeda dedicated drive system is too damn expensive for a working boy like me, especially when the Thump works so well.
