stabil for low use months?
I won't be driving too much durring the winter months in Chicago. Should I add a bottle of stabil once I am only driving 2 or 3 times a month or is it only necessary if you won't be driving at all? Probably wont be driving more than 50 or so miles per month.

I wouldn't bother but it can't hurt. Todays fuels don't varnish and gum up like they used to. I've had the same fuel in the Stang's tank for over 3-4 months during the past 2 winters with little mileage being put on it. I'd mainly be concerned if you weren't running fuel thru the system at all for the entire winter. I'm in the Chicago area and both my Stang and the g/f's are going into storage for 4-5 months with out being moved so they'll get Sta-bil.

I fill mine up to the top and forget about it. I worried when I put my blower on and tuned the gas had been in for 3 months and it never caused and problems. Here in MI there is about 10% alcohol any way in the 93 oct. Some folks swear by sta-bil. I called Livernois and they told me not to worry about it and to just fill it. They tuned and put the blower on and I've done it that way last 4 years.

Ok cool, I wont worry about it then. If I had somewhere to store the stang for the winter I probably would. Around chicago though, the cheapest storage I have found is $100/month and thats not gonna cut it for me because I already pay $75/month for my uncovered spot at the apt. I may just get a cover to throw on it. I am actually from southeast michigan so in the future I may try and store it back there for cheaper. W1ldcat, where in Livernois did you have your blower installed? At livernois motorsports?
