gears for a blower?

I can understand why you want a centri. When (if) I decided to put a blower on my 2010 it will most likely be the Paxton H.O. unit from Brenspeed. I want to keep the strut tower brace (hey it looks cool) and I think the centris are better for a daily driver. They are not any harder on the engine or use any more fuel really until you are in the throttle and up in the revs. So they are great for a daily driver application. And they make plenty of power, can get the car into the 11's, so what more do you really need......
But have you ever driven a twin screw? They aren't hard on a DD either if you stay light-moderate on the throttle. The bypass valve on a twin screw is throttle activated. Light or moderate throttle = no boost. I can drive me car as aggressively as any N/A GT without ever getting into boost. It just takes some touch with the throttle - and a boost gauge.
Or if I simply drive normally without hot-******* around, I never get into boost.
Before actually owning a supercharged car, I also though a centri would be the best for a DD in terms of daily engine stress. But now I think a twin screw can be just as easy on the engine during DD duty.

I drive about 60 miles a day, I have 4:10's in GT/CS and they make driving fun but they're not for everyone. I'm having a small issue with the rear tires!
My last DD was 03 Mach 1 with 4:30's, and I had the same tire issue, it must be the roads in Bama!

I've had 3.55 and 4.10's. With any SC I would have somwhere between a 3.73 and 4.10. If I'm interested in going to the track and getting a good time I would get 4.10s depending on how much power my car makes. If I was never going to the track then I would probably get a 3.73.

I have 3.73s with my Vortech. Go with 4.10s on the centri, and learn from my mistake, lol. I regret not doing the 4.10s but at this point given I have a great install on mine with zero whine, I'm not going to push my luck for the minor upgrade from where I'm at.
