The Kenne Bell kit takes a long time to install. Almost everything under the hood is moved around. A lot of wire loom has to be separated and re-routed. Very time consuming. Hope you have a second vehicle to drive around during the install. But of course all that hard work was worth it once you drive it and mash on the pedal for the first time.

I have also read that a KB install is complicated, especially electronically.

I installed my E-Force myself with 0 mistakes made. Help from a couple MF'ers here and Edelbrock was useful in any questions I had. Some "first year model" type issues with their kit brought some undue frustration but we got through it.

Prior to this, my most complicated auto-mechanics experience was putting in longtube headers, car stereos, air filters, and oil.

+1. I can vouch for Procharger and Whipple's instructions. They were both excellent, but Whipple is SUPER detailed so that it's VERY hard to screw up.

I am finishing up my Whipple install and I thought the instructions were very good. Some of the steps they jumped around on but not bad. Not as hard as some of the threads I read. Even the GT500 pumps were easier than I expected. I had the old pump out and the new one installed in about an hour. Hardest part for me was removing the 13mm nut that holds the hard heater lines to the block. LOL!! You can do it just take your time and like the others say READ!

I had to grow two extra elbows on my right arm for that step, but the rest was cake, lol.

Read the instructions cover-to-cover 2-3 times. Read each step a few times as you go the install.

Buy 100+ ziploc bags, masking tape, and a sharpie. Each thing that comes off the car should get bagged & tagged with the step you were on when you took it off.

This will keep you highly organized and confident through the process.

If you can turn a wrench at all and don't mind very minor electrical stuff you can do this. It just takes time. You'll spend most of your time just looking at the instructions to be sure of what you're doing.

And when you get done, you'll feel like you could do the project again in about half the time.

It was time consuming but i installed my E-Force over the last week woking a few hours a night. I am still waiting on the competition intake to finish it up
