I used to pretend it was a Vette for the first 20 miles or so, shift from 1st to 4th. Glad it was fixed....

I also have this problem and slow shifting until the car warms up works fine for me. I am interested to know if anyone has been able to solve this issue by changing the transmission fluid. Anyone?

this has been an ongoing hit or miss issue with the trannys. i would say it is possible.
