I've only had my 2006 GT since July '09 so it'll be a while if I decide to trade in. If anything, I'll wait till 2014 and go from there. That'll give Ford plenty of time to work out any kinks. Plus I love my pony and am attatched to it.

The 2011 GT if it has a 400hp 302 is going to run you at least MSRP. Good luck getting it much under, if at all, and a lot of dealers are probably gonna mark it up.

Not to mention the fact that I bet MSRP takes a jump over the 2010.

+1 on that plus see if I can get past those damned rear tail lights and bumper.

I might consider keeping the '07 and getting an '11 or '12. It depends on the job. Plus, son #2 is graduating college summer of '10 so there's a few more $$'s to throw elsewhere.

I would only do it if it came with forged internals from the factory which I am sure won't happen. Seriously, 400 h.p. is cool but that will be flywheel, it'll still be heavy and have tall gearing. Realistically, it won't be much if any faster than a mildly modded 05-10 I wouldn't think. Also, the 05-10 stock blocks will probably be able to support around the same amount of rwhp as the 2011 blocks unless like I said above they go out on a monstrous limb and forge it, which would be ungodly cool of Ford to do. I would really like to see a 351 G.T. no offense to the 5.0 but with the size of engines going into cars these days, Ford is putting the mustang in position to only be competative with forced induction within a couple of years I would think. Really, how much more N/A power are you going to squeeze out of 302 cubes vs. the 6+ liter engines Chevy and Dodge are using. I know Ford stays lighter than the competition which helps but I'd like to see a bigger engine or less of the weight adding crap that get put in all these new cars.

Ralph Nader won't let that happen. You will be safe whether you want to or not.

motors can be swapped and/or hot rodded. Bodies and styling is a little harder to fix. Will keep both 05 and 06 and do a little hp addition to each. Best of both worlds, great looking car and added hp. Still just can't quite get to where I LOVE the 2010 body style. But I know I LOVE the 05-09. I'm good.

Too much tied up in the car, plan on building it further, so no. I would not, however, turn down a free one, heh!
