Steve, do they scrap in the front? It looks like the pipes hang lowest there around the oil pan and under the front suspension components.

i was thinking if i get the hellion tuner kit what all else would i need as far as fuel pump and injector size? would i be able to just get a set of bigger injectors and then just a kenny bell boost-a-pump? or would i need a complete bigger drop in take fuel pump? i havent really researched the boost-a-pump a whole lot it just kind jumped in my head as a possible choice sorry if it's a stupid question

i would do a set of 60lb injectors and a gt500 fuel pump kit or even better do the lethal kit that has 2 pumps, the fore hat, wiring harness, driver module, and hat to stock line adapter.

It all depends on how much power you want to run. If you are going to go much over say 475, you may max out the duty cycle on your stock fuel pump even with a boost a pump. If you were to keep the hp around 450ish you should be fine with the stock one. If you ever do want to go up, you should just do it right and do it once with the dual in the tank pumps such as the ones mentioned above or the gt500 fuel system. They aren't cheap though.

Bobby, I can say now that I'd probably be set for 640 for a decent while. I could be wrong though ;-)

Take a look at Powerhouse turbocharger systems. We started with their base 67mm...then upgraded to their 76mm. All business....not showy like a Hellion.

I was thinking about the hellion kit and talked to a couple tiers that turned me off it. They said the torque is hard on the stock block and didn't recommend it.

Shane, I'm not sure what they meant about torque was hard on the stock engine, but its everything in moderation nothing in excess. I would never say that the way the torque comes on in the powerband would ever be worst in a turbo car than a supercharged car. The torque is instant in those. I would say if you were sitting around 500+rwhp&trq then it might be hard and go boooom.

Steve, do you have any pics of the PH turbo. I'd like to see what it looks like on your car.

Have an old pic from before the new build started. You can hardly see the turbo. ALmost have to be standing over the engine bay and look straight down. It's not showy at all...until you see it. If you're looking for lots of shiny metal parts and lots of tubing etc...something like the Hellion will suit you better. Dealt with PH for 2 years now....post sales service and support is awesome.

Pic of engine bay now and new motor fixing to go in. Torque is typically higher than hp with turbos. Usually other way around with superchargers
