start saving, your driveshaft, trans and engine are all are very borrowed time IMO. unless those are fudged numbers that is probably atleast 550 on a dynojet

If he's making less than that, i'd be surprised. Cams, long tubes, dyno tune, boost probably closer to 12 lbs. It's a manual transmission and he has a 1 piece drive shaft. Have we seen any transmissions fail that weren't being power shifted?

What did they charge you to tune it? I really want their belt drive system, but I've spent all my money for the foreseeable future and then some.
Hi there moosestang..... Florida sounds good right about now (LOL). No... Steeda Canada is located in the little town of Milton, Ontario, Canada just a few miles outside Toronto. They have done all my work since day one and their Custom Dyno Tune runs about $350.00. Pat and Paul take great pride in their work, and are solid guys to deal with. Ya, although pricey, the Steeda Belt Drive does work incredibley well and the much larger 10 rib belt with bigger snout looks sick.. Gives it that Pro Mod look (IMO)

07 GT E UPP, I see in your signature that you have 4.10's. Any traction issues with the supercharger? Is first gear necessary?

Nice numbers, but I'd be worried about my motor at that point, depending on how hard you run it. Better build that pretty quick...

Hi Chris... With 4:10's no doubt 1st gear will be a write-off with the Whipple. Gee, I had traction issues when I was NA with 350 RWHP. Unfortunately, my car is now put away for the winter, and when she comes out in the Spring I need to nicely break-in my new Spec Twin Disk clutch.

Well.... They say it's all in the tune and supposedly I got a nice safe one for the horsepower ..!! We'll see.....?? At present it's a daily driver and not beaten-on at the strip with 4000 rpm launches, hitting rev limiter, sticky tires, etc. etc. Just out there to surprise a Camaro or two..(LOL)

First of those are some really impressive numbers for the 4.6 - Nice Job!

I doubt that the tune will be able to save you from doing the engine soon though. You simply cannot boost that much and put down those numbers on a stock motor. The rods are the weak link.

If you use that boost very much at all you will be looking at OCF - Oilpan Containment Failure.
