Default Stock exhaust vs. After market vs. No Exhaust

What are the main power differences in the stock exhaust, after market exhaust (mainly flowmasters) and having straight pipes from the cat on a 2006 mustang gt? Pro's and con's as well.

No noticable gains with any axleback or even going without an axleback. Pros and cons are all about the sound.

Well that's good news, I just went without exhaust, straight pipes.

So straight pipes from the cats? NO stock/after market H or X pipe? Does the car feel weak? IM Thinking about going straight pipe too.

Stock axleback sounds almost good at WOT only.

Too many aftermarket axlebacks to comment on but nearly all sound much better than stock.

Straight pipes on our 3V sounds like chit, IMO.

I have had my mustang with just straight pipes from the cats back and it was ok....The car did feel a little bit more weak but not so much that it hurt anything.
Then I took the cats off and I had to put my flowmasters back on and did a custom x-pipe and it sounded really good then....But once I put my Hooker longtubes on it really woke it up and deepened the sound quite a bit.

It is mainly just on what kind of sound you are going for and if you are i guess really worried about the HP aspect of it all...Will you post up a video of your exhaust now since you went straight pipe?

Exhaust tone is so subjective. Everytime you change something, LTs, cats, no cats, x or h, the tone changes. I love my flows with everything else I have.
