Default Blower doods, cold motor lean?

Now that it's cold out, I noticed pinging if I get too much in the gas with a cold motor. Eraythang is fine after its warmed up, I just stay out of heavy throttle till then. My A/F is great with a war motor. do ya'll have thesame?

Cold motors will may ping if not properly tuned due to cold idle circuit will run too rich for the current timing curves. Being you have additional aftermarket parts with your Whipple I would contact the tube shop you used and tell them their tune is not correct. If you're using the Ford Pro-Cal tune still then you need to buy a tuner have have a tune made for the Whipple along with your aftermarket parts.

Yup. Big time lean for me in the cold weather, but 2007VistaBlueGT is right that it's 100% a tune issue. My tuner fixed it pretty easily.

You should watching your AF and see if it goes lean.

Check your plugs. Look for a tea colored staian along the porcelain.

Your tune probably needs to be freshened up. Do it with a clean MAF and fresh tank of fuel.
