Default SCT SF3 Tunes

I recently bought an SCT SF3 tuner for my 2006 GT, and am debating whether or not it is worth it to buy a Brenspeed tune or one similar to it. I uploaded a basic 93 octane tune that includes my Steeda CAI, and was wondering if having the professional tune is really any better. If not, do you guys have any suggestions on how I should tweak the tune to get a little more out of my car. Thanks alot!

A custom tune from Brenspeed, Bamachips, Tillman, VMP, or any of the other professional tuners on this forum are head and shoulders above the canned tune that came on your handheld. Custom tunes like these can make a night and day difference, changing much more than the canned tune can.

Thanks alot! One more question, I actually bought the tuner from American Muscle and they do free tunes for life. Do you know if the tunes they use are just the canned ones, or are they customized like the brenspeed ones?

I believe they do custom tunes. You might have to call them to verify that though, but their tunes are better than the canned ones im sure but Brenspeed, Bamachips, VMP, Tillmanspeed are miles better than the American muscle tunes. Totally worth the money. Just spend the money for one of their tunes instead of all 3 right away and feel the difference. Word on the street is the tillmanspeed all out tune is the most kick @$$ tune you can buy right now, but no one can beat brenspeeds customer service and tech.

The AM tunes are still inferior to the Brenspeed, Bama, Tillman tunes as is AM's tech support.

Additionally, those parameters that really increase performance cannot be tweaked by the end user. They are written into the tune.
