I'm going to swap them all back to the stock cop's. I was using accel cops for the last year or so. It did set a code, p0174. I cleared it and it eventually came back with the same code.

For those interested in my spark plug removal procedure. I use a large torque wrench set at 35 ft lbs with the appropriate extensions and give it three pulls till it clicks, then i break the ****** loose! Maybe i'm just lucky.

GO BABY, G0!!!!!!

Well now I know what it feels like to be running on 7 cylinders! It feels like crap. Reinstalled the same plugs and the stock COP's and voila! Fired right up and runs great! I cleared the p0174 code and it didn't come back on. LTFT are still high at 14/10, B2/B1, but only at idle. Short term trims were both -10 at idle, so I have a feeling the long term will drop down quite a bit still.

Thanks for the help, this was fun. I learned that aftermarket cops are not worth the trouble. They did make the engine feel smoother at part throttle and idle, until they died on me.

You can add bad COP to the list of possible causes for code p0174. I'll change the plugs anyway and I think she deserves a dyno tune for all the trouble I caused her.

It will be nice to drive her like I stole her again!

Ha,ha! I didn't really get a thud. It sounded like a helicopter though and the vibration at low rpms was enough to make you think the motor was coming apart.
