Unhappy Help needed... or not? Gauges.... are they working?

Okay so I had 2 gauges fitted today and not sure if they are working properly??

The first is:

http://www.americanmuscle.com/autometer-boost.html

When the car is on and at idle it runs at around 20-25 Vacuum, when on the throttle is heads towards Zero.... I have put my foot down, but not hard yet, but doesn't get much above Zero!?

I'm running a Roush Supercharger.

The 2nd is:

http://www.americanmuscle.com/autometer-airfuel.html

This just seems to constantly bounce from one end of the gauge to another.... nothing steady??

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks

Elmo

In all honesty I have only run the car for about 20 mins since putting them in.... so I am probably jumping the gun and panicking when I don't need to.....

I try a high gear pull tomorrow for the boost! thanks.

Still unsure about the air/fuel though!

Thanks, I'm not exactly good on this stuff! What is "Open loop"?

So is this gauge pretty useless to me? I think I can get an attachment for it:

http://www.autometer.com/cat_accesso...l.aspx?vid=162

would this make any difference for a more stable reading?

Bugger! Well that was a waste of time and money! What is the point in selling something that does..... pretty much nothing?

Anything that you can recommend? It will have to be 2 1/16" in size to fit my cluster.
