Default cam replacement

i'm lookin for someone with the spring compressor and the timing chain wedge. to sell trade or let me rent or borrow... i know there is another section for this but i do not have the access to do that yet... anyone ???

I think you'll get more response if you give people some idea where you're located.


The old spring compressor that I do have only works with the heads pulled, and I know for sure that I don't have the wedge, so I'm afraid that I can't help you any more than that.

You don't need the spring compressor. Removing the roller followers is an un-necessary risk. It doesn't take much to disconnect the valves from the keepers. The only thing I'd get in hindsight is the wedge. What I used worked, but I would have felt better if I had the wedge.
