Is anyone running no mufflers on their GT? I thought it would sound like crap, but here is a link to a youtube of a GT without mufflers and it sounds pretty bad a$$ to me, not as loud as I would think either. Thoughts? Does this cause any damage to the vehicle?

with no mufflers you need the have piping for exhaust tips out the back! Or it will bang the over the axle pipes against the car! It is loud sounds awsome! Im not running mufflers with the boomtubes just baffles in the tips! I love it!

Is that a back-fire that occurs at 1:03? "POP-POP" or is that something else in the background?

I don't think that was a backfire at 1:03... Sounds like some back ground noise. The car was pretty far down the road at that point and the sound seemed close to the person taping..

That is wayyyy too much for me at idle...i want it loud when im on the throttle, not 24/7.

When I was into the import scene, i picked a catback for my car that was quiet (but still nicer over stock) and didnt drone, but really opened up when i was on the throttle. But to each their own...

you guys that don't have boom tubes, you should hear their sound its much better then this car...

I dunno, I think the V6 sounds pretty good without mufflers also. There's a few videos on Youtube of V6 with no mufflers and they sound pretty good.

Yeah if that was the neighborhood I grew up everyone would of been out of the house yelling at me to slow down... Sounds very good though
