Default exhaust help

I have a 2008 gt, i wanted to get long tube headers but im told in truth i will gain about 10 horsepower and its not worth the money. i want to put an off road h-pipe on their and keep my flowmaster tips. if i keep my stock headers on and install the off road h pipe will i still get that typical mustang sound?

I also chose to go with an o/r h and my stingers. I actually did the install myself with only help leveling the pipes to connect. The lt's weren't worth it for the amount of money and the long install. Honestly, I don't know what the typical mustang sound is with these 3valves. The typical mustang sound to me is a 2v, o/r prochamber, and flowmaster 40s. My 06 gt did have way less drone after I took off the cats and it smoothed out the tone of the stingers. I think you may be disappointed after adding the o/r h to your axlebacks, at least I was. PM me if any questions on it.
