Default Just installed flowmasters

i like the way it sound.. it sound more like a mustang. but its still not as loud as i would like it. anyone have any options for me i just want to make it a little louder.
dont get me wrong it sounds great but just slightlly too close to stock with a little more grunt.

Go with off road (no cats) x-pipe or JBA's H-pipe, and then get long tubes. This setup will help but your mufflers are the most determining factor when it comes to loudness. If your really not happy with them I'm sure other members on this site would buy them from you for at least what a set of SLP loudmouths would cost you. Those would satisfy your craving I'm sure.

Yeah..LT's the way to go..make it really deep and aggressive..O/R H pipe makes it even deeper and meaner..and SLP is just the man..to me at least..best sounding cat (or axle) back out there

If you want louder, switch them out with Loudmouths. They are loud without being irritating.

who makes em?
and does it have that classic mustang sound..


the flowmasters do have the sound i love but just not loud enough.

Dave..umm..you can get a catted shorty h with Longtubes..at least up untill 2004 on all of those stangs..maybe it's different with the '05s? You would know better then me..but I always thoght that you could get Longtubes with a shorty catted mid pipe??
