Default Wondering if Pypes Violators sound better than stock mufflers????

I've read that the Violators have very little drone compared to flowmasters or Macs. I'm just wondering how much the sound is improved over the factory setup. I don't want to drop $300 and not be able to tell any difference.

It's easy to tell the difference-they're pretty loud. They don't drone much b/c they're not chambered mufflers

Personally I think Violators sound great and from what I hear they dont drone all that much. They only negative thing I've heard about them is that they have fitment problems but even that seems to be hit or miss. Plus they have an awesome price tag compared to other axle backs.

They definitely sound better! Not much drone at all (if any). The only time it ever seems to have some drone is when I'm going uphill at a steady pace. But that's it.

I like mine. They are louder than stock and you can't beat the price.

I have the Pypes Violators and love them! Much better sound than stock (deeper and louder). Like pwrl3ss said...only drone I have is uphill at low RPM. Not bad at all IMO.

Definitely a great system for the money.

I have thought about getting the very same mufflers. I have already put up a question about axle back exhausts on here. At about $500 + for others, I have just wondered about them. You don't exactly always get what you pay for ie. the more it costs, the better it is. What is the fitment problem?

Thanks a lot guys. I'll be ordering soon. The guys at Brenspeed also recommended them so I'm convinced for sure.

Well I have bought all my exhaust so far from pypes and the fitment on everything hasn't been right and had to be taken into a muffler shop. I am not the only one either everyone that has bought pypes products have normally had some sort of fitment issues. But the only thing bad I have heard about violators is the hangers on the mufflers are a bit off.

It's all about personal preference. I like the tone of the gta's and even the stockers when matched with an o/r h. I personally have an o/r h, and my stingers and slp's are currently off. car is in garage and still deciding which axleback to put on later this spring. Winter in Illinois sucks.

Edit: I also have had bad fitment issues with my pypes o/r h. The quality is garbage, imo.
