2013 California Special...
Hey guys after saving for quite some time i finally got the car of my dreams.
2013 GT California Special in performance white! I am so excited to pick it up tomorrow!
Anyway is there anything I should know in terms of maintenance over the years? This car is going to last me for quite some time and i plan on keeping it in great shape.
I ordered a car cover from american muscle. Im assuming I should use premium gas at all time? What about oil? Synthetic? How often should i change it? Is there anyway I can prevent the edges of the rotors from getting rusty?
Any input is greatly appreciated thanks guys!!

Im assuming I should use premium gas at all time?
The 2013 GT and GT/CS Mustangs are spec'd for regular gas. The Boss 302 requires premium
What about oil? Synthetic?
Switch to a good quality full synthetic at the first oil change.
How often should i change it?
Go with the factory maintainence schedule while the car is under warranty
Is there anyway I can prevent the edges of the rotors from getting rusty?
Never drive when it's cold/misty/damp/raining. Keep the car in a climate controlled garage with low humidity at all times. Or move to Arizona. In short: no...

The pictures will be up monday. Theres a tad bit of rust on the outer part of the rotor which came like that from the dealership. I was thinking of gently taking a wire brush to it to maybe scrape some off. As far as gas goes, even though it can run on regular should I use premium for better performance?
why does the boss require premium while the gts dont if they are both 5.0?
