Default Long tube headers with s/c

Just wondering for those who have long tube headers what kind of rwhp gains have you seen with centri s/c ? I know 20-30 seem normal for n/a just wondering if its the same for s/c vehicles.

HUH.........20-30 n/a??
On a 4.6? No way! WHo told you this?

It's not really worth the money, UNLESS you're trying to get every last HP.
Not a ver5y good return for the $$ spent in parts and labor.

With blowers your gains are a lot more significant if you do cams. From what i have read 50-70 hp with cams.

Depending on boost levels naturally, most street driven 4V see 35-55 at he upper levels of boost with the more radical cams being on the upper side.
70 RWHP........you're talking 20 plus psi of boost.

On a 3v 4.6L w/ a CAI yes you will.

With FI, you can expect a good 40, more with cams/heads of course.

Ummmmm..........NO.

With a TUNE, CAI LTs and exhaust you may see 25. total!

See....this is one big problem companies when advertizing their peoduct.

They take an untuned car and add one or more part and then claim this massive HP increase and people EAT IT UP. WHat most don't realize there's TUNE thrown in on top of every thing.
The proper way to evaluate such mods is to START with a TUNED vehicle, swap/install parts and retune the vehicle if needed.

+1

I saw documented +20 rwhp and +18 rwtq on the dyno when LT headers, X-pipe HI FLO cats, and CAI w/TUNE 91 octane canned tune was installed. Now we got crappy air and no humidity out here in the desert (AZ) but everything being equal that's all the gain you are gonna see naturally aspirated....maybe if you go catless a little more

L/T's with a N/A car will give you about 7-10 hp and you can get about 20 with a charged car. Those gains ^ are so far off
