Build for Spring[Ideas]
Well in the spring I am planning on starting mods on my 09 GT and was wondering what I should do? Right now I have on the list is a CAI + Tune, 4.10s and LTs with High flow cats.
My overall goal is a fast 1/4 mile car but it will still more street than track.
What else should I put on the list? The budget I am trying to stay in is 4000 to 5000 while not going F/I. I was thinking maybe a new cam but not sure which would be the best for my type of goal. I was looking at either the comp cams 127300 or 127400 but not sure.
Any ideas would be awesome.

Don't bother buying cams with such a short mod list, you need to get the car flowing better before you can really benefit from cams.
May I ask why you don't want to go F/I?? No point in blowing $5k on bolt ons and engine work to end up with maybe 375rwhp when you could buy a S/C and have 450rwhp easy.
If you're worried about the safety of the motor or trans, I've been running 9.5 lbs for over a year daily driver and track use with no problems (and its an auto).

I won't be able to do a FI build yet because I have to pay for labor. I think I am just going to do gears, LTs and CAI and Tune. Any thing else you guys think I could throw on that is on the less cost of things?

You know installing a blower or turbo isnt that hard and will save you the labor cost. doesnt make sense to spend $5k that way.
