Hey guys I need some 2010 specific info if anyone has it. I have read the exhaust on the 2010 is 2.5" and pre 2010 was 2.25"? (assuming this is OD?)

here is what i bought.

X-Pipe from rock auto. 2.5"
1 mid pipe from rock auto 2.5"

what i want to do is cut to y-pipe off at both pipes coming down from the cats. slide the x pipe in, clamp with band clamps.

slide both mids (1 new 1 stock) in the x and band clamp.

my ? is the x i got has a tapered end to insert into the pipes coming from the cats. are the pipes from the cats 2.5" OD? if so i have no problems, if they are not it wont slide in right?

the x pipe has expanded ends for the mids so the mids can slip right in so i can clamp, which is good on the "new" side. the stock mid @ the y has a stock band clamp, I might have to cut that off.

does this make sense? i just want to make sure this x will fit with my stock cat pipes.

It should fit. If not, take it to a local muffler shop. They shouldn't charge you much to weld it in there. I had mine done and the piping is 2.5 inches.

did my conversion over the weekend. the pipes coming out of the engine after the cats are 2.25"
the stock midpipe is 2.5.

the x pipe o bought fits right over top the pipes coming from the engine. the mids slip right in the x.

clamped it with band clamps and and it welded today for $25.
