I have noticed that after i shut my car off that the same thing happens but i have my stock exhaust, except for a set of SLP LM's. When the car is running it seems like the same amount of exhaust is coming out of both sides? hmmmm you have me thinking now!

An idea to advoid taking apart right away... use an IR thermometer and compare the pipes at different points.. they should be the same at any two points that are the same distance from the motor, if not, that would imply a block...
