Default Ford Racing CAI...

All,

Visited the Ford dealership the other day, talked to a guy in parts. I was asking him about the Ford Racing parts, in particular, the CAI and high flow mufflers for my 2010 Mustang GT. CAI comes with Ford tuner. Price seems high, but what about warranty?? Any suggestions??

Thanks

Robert

I added the Ford racing CAI and tune to my 07 about amonth ago. I love it. I did it myself, but if you have Ford dealer do it, it can be under warrenty. Alot of guys here recommed other tuners, and the others seem more versitel, but I wanted to stick with for. I just asked about moving up to a 373 rear end and they said they can use my Ford tuner for that also.

Sorry, one more thought. After I put on the CAI, I also changed my mufflers,,Ford GTA,, awsome,,anyway, it would have been cheaper to by it as the Ford performance pack, instead of seperate like I did. Just something to think about.

Current performance packs have the Bullitt CAI, GTB Mufflers, and an updated tuner. The included tune will pass smog as is.

I'm sure the price is high at a ford dealership. I wouldn't be using a ford calibrated tune anyway. I think you would be much happier with a brenspeed tuned jlt intake. The gta's can also be found online generally cheaper.
