Default Ford changed the plugs?

What's up with this? These pictures do NOT look like the original Ford OEM plugs for the 3v GT. Notice the lack of ground shield.

That is just a canned photo of a generic Motorcraft plug. That is not a plug that would fit an 05-07 GT. The crappy OEM is still 2-piece which is why I've been running 1-piece Champions for 2 years.

Ah I see. Wrong picture = confusion.

FWIW the problem with the car is the cylinder head not the plug.

brisk has a stock heat range plug, thought about trying those except they cost a 140 for a set and I already have a set of champions sitting in the garage.

Also, not being platinum tipped, Brisk plugs have a relatively short lifespan. They are sold for racing where the plugs are replaced fairly often anyway.
