Default wider tires

where can i find the specs on how wide i can go with my rear stock rims? i have a 2008 GT. Or does anyone have any helpful info on that that i may be able to use? Thanks in advance

265 is about the most i would go, 275 would be pushing it to much for a DD IMO

I use 275's on my DD, works great for me. Not sure about how big the stock wheels are though, so it may or may not fit

255 is about as big as you can go on your stock rims. Go to TireRack.com and look at the 255 specs.

cool, so if 255 or so is the max is should go with stock rims, would i feel an improvement with the traction and everything? i also am about to have the steeda lowering springs put in also so i've been told that'll help a lot as well. but im hoping with the torque and everything i plan on having, that i won't have to buy new rims to get wider tires for better traction. lol Thanks again
