Default Detroit TrueTrac Install

I purchased a Detroit TrueTrac. How much should a shop charge me install the unit and do I need a differential bearing kit?

Well, it will need bearings on each side. Might as well spend a few bucks and get new carrier bearings and races. You dont need a full kit, just those bearings and possibly carrier shims.
As far as install, should take a shop no more than 3 hours to install (could be as quick as an hour), IMO.
