First two mods: SLP LM & SM Driveshaft
#11
Right, but the documented numbers are made by ford, where as everyone's dyno's are aren't for advertising, they are the actual numbers. The s197 mustangs have around a 15 percent drive train loss for the manuals, which is around 330 at the crank. Its underated, and it is much more likely that they underrated the numbers rather then ford being right and the drivetrain loss estimations (which have been proven time after time) be wrong.

Mods like driveshafts, high octane tunes, and underdrive pulleys aren't really about adding crazy power but improving driveability. When I added the driveshaft I noticed mostly that the clunkiness was gone, the throttle response felt more direct and more responsive. My gas mileage also went up about 1 mpg. It does make the exhaust sound louder in the car though... which may be good or bad depending on your perspective.
