Couple of exhaust questions
So ive found these ford racing headers that will mount up with my stock mid pipe. here http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-s...rs-0510gt.html
And ive decided to do some SLP loudmouths along with this setup...here
http://www.americanmuscle.com/axexlmo20mug.html
what i wanted to know is would this be a good setup for my stang? I just got the car and i would DIE if i screwed it up somehow. I figured you guys would know best. I appreciate your responses.

Screwed it up as far as what? Breaking a part or wasting your money on a mod you don't like?
I have a suggestion for ya, the slp's are basically a muffler delete, just pipes, why not unbolt the stockers and just run the car a while without mufflers and see if you like the note? It won't be exactly the same but very close. Also, I didn't check your link for the headers, but if they are shorty's there is really no gain in power by switching them out from stock, in long tubes there are. I would reconsider the headers and possibly the axlebacks unless your totally set on that pair.

the stock pipes are fine and i imagine with some long tube headers the sound would change a little. Im just asking for opinions and ideas on the best bang for your buck kinda thing ya know?

If you're looking for the best bang for your buck in terms of HP gain, I would change my approach completly and get a tune/cai combo from a tuner like Brenspeed or Bamachip. This would allow you to put an off road midpipe on in the future (have to turn of o2 sensors), plus you will need a tuner if you go the long tube header route down the road. However, if you are looking for just a sound upgrade, I vote the SLP Loudmouth or some other muffler delete. Borla Stingers and the Mac's also sound good, especially when you combo them with an o/r midpipe. Regardless, just axle backs are not going to give you really any hp gains. Go on youtube and listen to some exhaust setups to get an idea of what you like. There are so many combos to choose from.
