Default High flow cats?

I have heard friends talking about high flow cats. Its seems like not too many people talk about them on here. Is there another name that it goes by? Or are they just not good on stangs?

Default I am sure that you will get some replys

I am also sure that someone here uses High Flow Cats(HFC). They will usually give better performance then stock cats however, they can be louder. The are not as loud as straight or racing pipes and restrict more however, they can usually be used on the street without any concern.

Tons of people here uses high flow cats. Anyone that says they have a catted X, unless they swapped in their stock cats is running high flows. Any after market catted pipe usually comes with high flows.

I've used high-flow cats for over 2 years now on my Mustang.

For o/r H or X pipes, will that eliminate the cats or does that mean they are just piped differently behind the cats? Is there a big power change between the two? Louder the better!

Define "big". IMO, there is NOT a big power change; probably a mild increase of 4-5 RWHP, if that. It's tough to say since people usually don't do a before and after dyno just for high flow cats. But every little bit helps your edge.

I have before and after numbers among stock catted H, O/R prochamber and prochambe w/hi-flow cats. This was not done on the same day but on the same dyno and the weather was almost the same. The dyno is SAE corrected. Here are the results:
Stock Catted H- 298RWHP/308RWTQ
O/R Prochamber-302RWHP/305RWTQ
Prochamber w/hi flows-308RWHP/311RWTQ.
