If you have a base model, why not go with the 2007 gt500 wheel?

The 2010 GT500 steering wheel is cheaper (at least from the prices posted so far) and looks better.

Yea I love my 2010 gt500 wheel. It makes driving my mustang that much more pleasurable. Going from that nasty cheap injection molded plastic to leather and suede......wow what a difference!

Too bad they don't have more options on those, one of my favorite touches in my car is the grabber blue stitching on the wheel. If they had one with grabber stictches it would be perfect. then again, the only difference in that wheel and mine are the suede patches, not sure that is worth $300.

The cruise control buttons work fine on the GT500 wheel when installed on the base GT. It's the audio controls that don't work. Hopefully someone will figure out how to get them working. Still waiting for some feedback from FordEngineer on that.
