Some of you may not know that my motor blew up last year about 1000km's after a custom dyno tune.

Bent three valves, so I opted for new heads (there was also a lot of chunks in the heads)

I'm getting ready for a Whipple this week, did you have the Mustang Shop or Tecmotion in Calgary do the custom tune, or somewhere in Edmonton or up North and what HP/PSI were you running when the engine let go? With the stock motor did you have a non HO whipple??

Sorry to hear about the misfortune with the engine, but the new build is seriously awesome, congratulations.

Tecmotion did the tune before it went. I heard nothing but good things about their tunes until after I got one. Someone actually told me to remove my tune immediately when they heard who I had it done by, said their car let go a couple thousand kilometers after they got theirs tuned, of course I never.... I should have! There are 4 other S197's I have heard of with blown motors tuned by them. I sent my tune to another respected tuner and asked him to take a look at it, he said it is worthless, and jacked up, he sent me a 12 point list of things wrong with my tune (knock sensors turned off at WOT was one, and the reason my motor let go)

You ought to go to Tecmotion and personally shaved their b@lls with a dull blade.
Bastards, they shouldn't be in business.

May your new set up last you a long while.
