Default What to get first?

I just got a 08 GT. It's stock except for a cai and mufflers. I had a 03 GT that I went all out on but I'm new to the 3v motors. Are there any "must have" parts I need to get? What gives you the most bang for your buck? I have plans for a little nitrous later on. I know long tube headers didn't pick my 2v up that much, what about the 3v? Are they worth it? Any tips on getting it to hook? I heard the S197 cars hooked pretty good from the factory with the 3 link suspension but I've never dealt with them at all. Any info on it would be great.

I haven't seen any single mod that adds a ton of power besides boost. cams with a tune would probably be your biggest single mod for all-motor.

If you all ready have a CAI, get a tune for it. Make a world of a difference. I've pulled 1.9 60ft at the track w/ a bone stock GT. I just did 4.10 gears, and another great mod, I should be in the 12's w/ that.

Gears are on my list already. They have always made the biggest difference to me. I guess everything else is like the 2v GT. Bolt ons didn't really add much power at all. The blower and nitrous did though, lol.

that's why I'm skipping straight to the blower, no baby steps I did a couple little things first but I spent a relatively small amount on those parts.

After the CAI and tune, 4.10 gears are the best bang for the buck. You might consider LCA to control wheel hop. On my car, The L/T headers and O/R Prochamber added 11 HP for $750.00. The cams added 29 HP for $750.00.

Ok. I think I might just do the gears, nitrous and LCAs. I can't stand wheel hop. Where did you get yours from and did they stop all that wheel hop?
