Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to increase the ***** power on my 2010 GT with out voiding the warranty?

Since this is your 1st post, I won't diss you for not using the search feature.

The answer to your question depends on if you're a wus and will allow the dealership to intimidate you or if you wear pants instead of a skirt.
  1. CAI & tune, biggest bang-for-the-buck short of going FI. Figure on roughly 20 RWHP gain providing you get a good tune (i.e., Brenspeed, Bama/AM, Tillman)
  2. UDP's - roughly 3-5 RWHP efficiency increase
  3. Aluminum DS - about the same as UDP's
  4. electric water pump - I've heard possibly as much as 15-20 RWHP but could be more like 8-10 IMO
  5. gears - won't add power but sure FEELS like it. Definitely makes the car quicker
Of course, there's always cams with LT headers and O/R pipes if you can deal with losing the cats. And then there's FI... FI... FI... yeah, baby... FI.

if warranty is the primary concern, you may
want to consider one of the FRPP power
packs and have your local dealership install
it.

this is not a popular path, but a few have done
it.

..for lesser power gains and higher cost than other aftermarket. Why bother, IMO.

oh i agree 100% Nuke. i also know that the thought
of voiding the warranty doesn't sit well with
some and they are torn and stressed over it.

looking at frpp, i don't see power
packs for the 10's. unless i'm missing something
maybe the 10's already have the cai and
tune from the factory....

The 10's have the Bullitt tune which is why they are rated 315 crank. Although an aftermarket CAI & tune won't provide as MUCH gain on a '10 as it will on an '05-'09, it still is a decent power adder.

But, mystang2010, the choice is yours. Some dealers don't give a ratz azz about having a CAI & tune; others are dikkheads and it all depends on how YOU handle THEM. Besides, you bought the car to have fun. And a CAI & tune (or any other aftermarket mod) CANNOT void your warranty for problems not related to it.

headers, h-pipe, tuner. about a grand. 20ish whp. do it yourself to save on install costs.

as said... it really depends on the dealership. make friends with someone there, preferably in the bay area... find another mustang fan.

or go with ford racing parts and have ford install them or an approved installer.
