Default Ok I'm new to mods etc..

Question is on the term WOT, what exactly does that mean?

I own a 2007 Torch Red GT and just recently started the mod process other than throwing some 20's (gloss black) and some roush 1/4 window louvers and other general appearance stuff.

What I recently purchased and can't wait to install is the JLT/w SCT 110mm carbon fiber CAI and a BBK 62mm TB. Depending on the outcome of these mods will determine the investment of more gear.

Anyone have those particular items and notice any improvements?

WOT = Wide open throttle

CAI + Tune will wake your car right up. It WILL be a different beast if you purchased your tune from a reputable vendor.

My next performance mod is 4.10 gear.

I never went to their site directly, I do hope they are giving you a custom tune. I run Brenspeed tunes.

when u get ur cai installed get the 93 race tunes from brenspeed and u will be amazed. After about 6 months u will be wanting some more power. That will make ur next mod 410's which what i did. Awesome. I just recently drove my car from indianapolis to atlanta and got 22 miles to the gallon with 410's. When i get back i have new rims and wheels waiting to be installed. cant wait

Hey alkemist,

on a side note did you install that roush bumper and if so was it difficult? I have been thinking on doing the same thing.

Oooohh, Roush bumper is an excellent choice. Gives the stang an aggressive look. I have the chin spoiler also.

I only have the front, and I had the body shop do it, but people on here said it was easy to do. The body shop said it was a nightmare but then they weren't familiar with mustangs and were incompetent to begin with.

Also a tip, when you install the vent covers, they go on from behind the bumper.. not in front

The CAI and tune should help. The first thing you did when you put on those 20s was reduce your performance, so at least you'll get some of that back. That is unless you spent $$$ on some super lightweight forged wheels or something anyway.
