Going 4.10...Some Questions.
K so I have gotten the instant... MORE mod bug after installing a C&L Racer Intake and a Brenspeed 91 Octane tune.
I am going from 3.55's to 4.10's.
Couple of questions.
Oh to start it is a 2006 Mustang GT. (Manual of course hahha)
1. I am probably going to just have it done at the dealer most other shops here are even more chinchi than they are.
How much would the total cost be or how much SHOULD it be to have them ordered and installed and everything?
2. There are TWO different 4.10 gears I see.
Could someone post a link to the ones I need and are the best from the ford site?
3. Are they going to adjust the computer after install?
I suppose that even if they do I will have to re install my custom Brenspeed tune when I get home so that really makes no difference. Ok... but will I need to install the tune BEFORE driving it again or is it ok to do at after I get the car home?
Thanks!

ur speedo will be off that unless ford flashed ur pcp which im sure they will just make sure ur tune is stock before they do or you will lose your tune. then when u get home just install your brenspeed tune. it should cost about 500 bucks for parts and install

I have my stock tune saved on my SCT X3 so why would I need to return it to stock before taking it in for the gears?
Especially if I am going to have to reload my Brenspeed tune anyway?

What I did was told the dealership to not flash for the new gears and just do it yourself with the sct.
If you have a custom tune on your car and they flash your pcm for the new gears while your custom tune is loaded your custom tune will be gone.

But if they flash it all I have to do is reload my custom tune and adjust the tune gear ratio under options correct?
