Default Kudos to Brenspeed!

I purchased my "new to me" 2005 GT Convertible about three weeks ago. When I took it out for the test drive (stock tune, intake and exhaust) I sort of expected to be impressed with the legendary GT "get up and go". I was happy but not overly impressed but you have to understand that my daily driver is an 09 Dodge Ram Sport with 400 Hemi Horses so my threshold for being impressed is fairly high. I knew right then I would be modifying the car as soon as possible and I searched this site for tips, tricks and suggestions.

I decided to go with Borla Axle-backs, JLT 110mm Carbon Fiber Intake and the SCT X3 93 octane tune from Brenspeed. WOW what a difference! My mechanic test drove the car before and after the install. His text message after the tune was installed consisted of three BIG letters... "OMG". Even though I had only owned the car three weeks, I had to learn to drive it all over again. The throttle response was so much improved that I almost got it sideways leaving the shop parking lot the first time. Two days later I have a couple of problems:

I have a cramp in my cheeks from the permanent smile on my face.

And my ears keep ending up at the back of my head but they move forward again when I stop.

ME LIKEY!

I drove an 02 eclipse for 5 years before buying my 08 gt/cs so i was impressed with the stock performance. But when I added the Brola stingers, Steeda CAI, 4.10's, and the Brenspeed 93 tune I got wood. I have got sideways many a time. I love my car.....

Grats on the new toy. I felt the same way back in '06 when I got the Brenspeed 93 Tune with a C&L CAI. Then a year ago, I joined the boosted club. Now, I resemble the Joker.

Congrats, we all like the new tune after we first install and run a few weeks. What happens when we later get used to it and then we get bored?
