new rims new gears...helppp

Your current gears are what 3.55? 3.73 wont do much at all. 4.10 for sure. Do a search of 4.10 gears and read what others have said about them. I have them and love em. I have an auto trans though.

Put in your old rear tire size before the 19" rims
and put in your new rear tire size.
Rims dont make you go slower (unless they are made of lead),
its the rolling diameter of the tire.
What did you have on there before the swap that you are
comparing the new tires/rims to?
Define 'alot slower'...

What you loose in 0-60 times increases your top speed.
Loose top speed and 0-60 becomes better.
Looks like the tires are bigger round and its
killing your low end torque.
Gears will help that.
Dont go too steep or you will loose top end again.
Its a big ol balancing act and you upset the teeter
totter when you got heavier rims and taller tires.
Do you want looks or performance.
Its a fine line to have both....
And costs $$...
