Question macs n x pipe a good match???

my friends exhaust set up is stock headers, o/r x pipe which was changed to high flow x-pipe( he put some high flow cats to keep it down) and slp lm. Hes gettin macs for a trade. Will the macs help out with the loudness and make it more deeper. His car sounds good at idle and low rpms but when he guns it it really trumpets.

Thanks for your help guys

I went from catted X, 12" resontors and SLP LM to Catted X, resonators and MACs. I still have my SLP LM. The MAC set-up is a deeper but a little quieter. Both of my set-ups sound awesome. Here is a video of the catted X and MAC set-up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nx56P4156ck
