Snap-on tools are pricey but of very good quality. As a former mechanic, the best warranty in the world won't help if your tool breaks in the middle of a job. Then what do you do?

I have certain tools (like long handle, 6 point combo wrenches) that are Snap-on as well as some other various tools (ratchets, wheel/gear pullers, etc). I have never had a Snap-on tool break whereas I have had other brands, including Craftsman, that have; and usually at the worst possible time.

For weekend work, Craftsman is fine.
