Default Freon leak in my a/c system question

My a/c has developed a large leak . I can charge it up full of freon, and it will be almost empty by the next day. I've looked over all the lines and compressor and cant find any oil leaks or any visual signs of it leaking. I even used a handheld leak detector inside and out and still no luck finding it. My question, does anyone know or heard of particular parts of the a/c system which are notorious for leaking on these cars?

Nope.
None come to mind.
Get the UV dye and the UV light to find the leak.
Before the atmosphere comes and get you for adding Freon to it...

Dont know if it will help, but maybe you could try Red Angel. We use it at work, never had any complaints. Of course, none of the leaks have been that severe.

YES: the front condenser! With it being up front, it's very easy for a small rock to punch a hole between the fins and you have a hole and leak. Otherwise, leaks are rare. Depending on the age of the car, hoses will tend to spring a pinhole leak on the lines where rubber sections are crimped to metal sections: the crimp will develop a hole and leak.
Most leaks will leave traces of oil, especially really big leaks.

Make sure to put some compressor oil in your system the next time you charge it.

The condensor tubes are well protected by the cooling fins.
Its really hard to get a small enough rock inbetween the fins
to actually puncture a tube with no visable fin damage.
If it looks like a brick hit it and its really forked up, than
yes, the condensor is the most likely place to suffer driving
damage. But its very rare unless you can actually see the damage.
