exactly dont hijack my thread go hijack your own!
car is back sounds awsome and jumps like crazy. it chirped into 2nd gear and alittle into 3rd. the way it throws you back into the seat is more intense too. 4.10 gears all the way as long as they are installed properly.
just orered the
Tokico D-Spec Adjustable Strut & Shock Kit
AND SOME
eibach springs.
i think that should help alot with launch and performance. I was going to wait since ive done a ton recently but hey you only live once so bills dont matter making my mustang happy does. haha.
not sure when they will be installed. maybe a couple weeks.

Ok I hope I get responses because its not letting make a new post. I went out today. 4.10 gears k and n intake bbk 62mm throttle body and steeda spacer with 93 octane (did have full tank).
I launched from a stop and just floored it and it bit off the line and chirped 2nd and 3rd I did 5.65 amd 5.50 in two runs. The 2nd run I held the brake and took it to 1000 rpms then launched with no spin.
Now I had the top down....
I also read a lot online that stock does 5.3 so am I doing something wrong or are those numbers correct? I'm just trying to figure out based on what stock 2006 gt convertible does and what my mods are why mine is higher. Can anyone give me an idea on where I should be? I was hoping for around 5.0 4.9 if stock does 5.3 and I made changes.
Does the top down or up matter?
Does the full tank matter?
Should I be chirping into 2nd and 3rd because I love the way it feels and sounds and just seems like I should be quicker than 5.5. It seemed a little slower from 45-60 than from 0-45.
Any info or tips would be awesoeme!
