Default Steeda Charge Motion Delete Plugs?

could someone explain to me exactly what these do and if there is a noticeable difference with them installed?

There are butterflies in the intake that open up and allow in more air. The concept is that, when closed, you get more torque. They open at 3000 RPM when more air is needed. The plugs eliminate those butterflies entirely and require a tune. You lose a little torque (how much probably varies by tune), but the power band is smoother and you get more HP up top. Here is a link to my impressions:

be very careful when you put them in, my mechanic put them in and put the end plugs in wrong and one fell in to the motor, he had the old instructions, make sure you have the new instructions with the warning on the last page!

Wow, that seems to happen more than I would have thought. When you install them, if you keep in mind that some have made this mistake, it's pretty intuitive which way they must go.

Any damage to the motor?

no damage to the motor, but to get the damn plug out they had to take the passenger side head off, so the car has been down for most of the month(still down) waiting on gaskets and what not. Damn living in Germany parts for an American car take soo damn long to get here!

Man Germany! I'm so jealous. I had the luxury of traveling to Germany twice last year for business. Beautiful country, left me speechless often. And the quality of the drivers was second to none. I want to get back to Germany asap for a personal vacation. I can't imagine a Mustang on the Autobahn.
