Seems weird but I notice the exhaust smell more now. Does cams change the exhaust fumes or increase them? I am guessing it does since Cali says NO to cams. Maybe its all the video I am shooting standing behind the car!! LOL

The little sucker pulls ALL the power when it gets hot.. I am basically CAI/tune when it gets heat soaked...

I have the detroit rocker cam also and i have noticed the smell myself too. I have had no issues or warning lights come on so like u said it must be the way it is and the reason cali wont let u use them. I had mine put on june 1st which is the same day the track is open for street guys. But i was unable to make it.

Yeah I went but you might was well called it bad luck Saturday for me. First run at 2 in the afternoon temps at 89`, DA at 1900 and I had just driven an hour to get there. I basically matched my best run ever in optimum conditions 13.26 @105.90 Being that is was so hot, I was like ok when it gets cooler I will run faster. Couple of hours later I go again, feels like a fast run, checked speedo at traps and seems to be higher, go to get ticket and the timer failed at the 1320 mark!! WTF man!!! 1/8 mark was a tenth faster than previous run. Damn that would have been my pb run!!! Well they let me go again and of course hot lapping the car it runs a 13.30 105.75
At 8 pm, air is cool, car is cool, I go again and now for the first time ever with 50 runs in this car, my tires blow off in first gear and the run is shot. Must have hit a wet spot.....sh#t!!! That was an elimination round too. So now I get to wait till July when we run again. With my street tires my 60 foots suck 2.11-2.15 but my reaction times are getting way more consistant .55-.58 so I am stoked with that.

Heat soak is a killer. I have slips showing hot lapping takes as much as two tenths off. So you did a 13.0 .................dude that is so close!!!!! ........next time maybe we both will have happier posts! LOL
